摘要
Glassy carbon substrate, multi-walled carbon nanotubes and double stranded DNA was coated layer by layer to form an electrode. The electrode was exposed to benzene solution for 5 minutes. The layer by layer coated carbon electrode forms a viable platform for the immobilization of DNA that effectively promotes electron transfer between the DNA and electrode. The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry measurements was taken before and after the exposure. The effects of adsorption potential, DNA concentration and quantity of carbon nanotubes used for DNA immobilization were investigated on the voltammetric behavior of DNA. These findings could be used to design a biosensor with linear response to benzene.
