摘要
The evolution of the diagnostic equipment for automotive application is the direct effect caused by the implementation of sophisticated and high technology systems in the new passenger cars. The application of fuzzy logic to the diagnosis of automotive systems provides a novice approach that can integrate all of the information available, on- and off-board of the vehicle, in a diagnostic frame. In this paper the use of fuzzy rules generated from the experimental data is addressed. Also, experimental results of the work carried on the integration of fault codes, mathematical model-based approaches, and exhaust emission levels are provided. Copyright (C) 1998 IFAC.
