摘要
laboratory investigation to determine the effect of a subsurface hardpan on soil erosion was carried out. The presence of a pan led to a significant increase in soil erosion. Runoff and soil loss were higher from the panned soil than the unpanned soil. The total runoff from the panned soil was about 1.3 times greater than that from the unpanned soil and the total soil loss from the panned soil was approximately double that from the unpanned soil. The sediment concentration in the runoff was also higher in the panned soil than the unpanned soil. (C) 1996 Silsoe Research Institute.
