摘要
In this paper, we propose and evaluate a new packet scheduling algorithm for multimedia traffics in multi-user OFDM wireless systems. Since there will be multiple quality of service (QoS) in the next generation mobile communications, especially at the downlink, how to schedule the resources to provide different QoS classes in an efficient and fair way is a crucial issue. This algorithm allocates the resources dynamically in both time and frequency domain based on the users' feedback channel information, fairness among users, packet urgency and loss rate of different QoS classes. It can satisfy multi-QoS requirements of both real-time and non-real-time traffics, keep fairness among users and maximize the system's throughput under the above conditions.
