摘要
Laboratory hazardous waste (LHW) which has been the source of environment pollution can not be ignored. It should be handled properly in case that it causes great damage to our work and the environment. LHW management and disposal strategy research is imperative. According to the main form, LHW is divided to liquid, gas and solid hazardous wastes which are characterized by small and scattered emission and no storage management or treatment measures. The paper proposed the generation, disposal methods and strategy of LHW according to the idea of green chemistry. LHW can not be abandoned or discharged without any disposal measures. Many LHW can be transported to the units having business license engaged in collection, storage, and disposal activities for unified treatment. Government departments should give funding, policy support and project a comprehensive and systematic treatment program. It is feasible to improve the awareness on LHW management and go though special education, publicity and training activities. To realize green chemistry laboratory is to promote recycling and reduce hazardous reagents consumption. The most important work is to research and develop the ultimate disposal technology and equipment combined with the characteristic of hazardous waste generation, and to propose the best available options for hazardous waste recycling, storage and disposal methods.
