Analyses on the Employment of Tourism Management Graduates in Chinese Universities

摘要：
With the rapid development of the Chinese tourism industry, the social needs of specialists in tourism management are increasing. According to researches on comprehensive abilities, potential career development, self-cognition ability and career expectation of graduates majoring in tourism management, the author points out that comprehensive ability of the current tourism graduates, to some degree, are not oriented to the requirements of employers, which may seriously impede the sustainable development of tourism higher education in China. Based on analyses of the employment situation of tourism majored graduates, the author provide several suggestions to improve the practical skills and employment abilities of tourism graduates. This research may contribute to promote tourism higher education in Chinese universities and enhance the employment rate of tourism majored graduates.
