摘要
In this study, the shrinkage rates of different fabrics were tested under different fusible interlining conditions as well as those for the same fabric fused to different interlinings. With overall comparison, all experimental conditions were fully paired up in numerous tests to identify the shrinkage rates of several common garment textures, respectively, at the three fusible temperatures of 130, 150 and 170 degrees C under varied fusible conditions with or without steam for 20, 40 and 60 seconds. As the same garment texture was fused to different fusible interlinings, the author tested the corresponding shrinkage rates. The shrinkage rates of these fabrics under varied fusible conditions were concluded with the shrinkage variation laws through data analysis.
