Charge symmetry breaking in nuclear matter

摘要
The effect of charge symmetry breaking (CSB) due to the isospin mixing of neutral vector mesons, omega and rho(0), on nuclear matter is examined by means of a relativistic nuclear model. It is shown that a delicate cancellation between two large CSB contributions from omega and rho(0) results in a small yet significant isovector asymmetry in nuclear matter.
