摘要
Based on the identity transgression of the protagonist, Coleman Silk, who disguises himself as a white Jew and conceals his racial identity and the degeneration of Faunia Farley, a janitor woman, who disguise herself as an illiterate despite his upper-class bourgeoisie family, the article focuses on the analysis of the status quo of the present American society from a broader perspective with the result that for human beings, any transgression and escape cant' free themselves from the tragedies of their lives.
