摘要
Intercalation polymerization was used to modify the layered structure of montmorillonite (MMT), and ultra high molecular weight polyethylene/polystyrene-MMT (UHMWPE/PS-MMT) nanocomposites were prepared through melting intercalation. The MMT layered structure of UHMWPE/PS-MMT nanocomposites was characterized by X-ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. It was found that the MMT layers were exfoliated in UHMWPE/PS-MMT nanocomposites. In additon, the rheological properties were greatly improved.
