摘要
The rapid development of economy prompts our country's urbanization process and building city brand images becomes an emphasis of the promotion of a city. This article analyzes the external manifestations that visual communication has on the sensory experience offered by city brand images from the perspective of basic ideas of visual communication design, combining city brand images' status as the organism united with spirits, conducts, visions and space environment of a city to deliver the effects that visual communication design has on building city brand images and the promotional effects of visual communication, to convey urban appeal in its most suitable areas, thus promoting a city's status in an observer's eyes.
