Pseudoneuroblastoma demonstrated by I-123 MIBG SPECT

摘要：
I-123 MIBG SPECT was performed in a 20-month-old girl 6 and 30 hours after injection and demonstrated a hot spot near the left renal hilum. Because magnetic resonance imaging revealed no mass, an I-123 MIBG study was repeated 2 weeks later. Six-hour images showed a hot spot in the same place, but the pelvic uptake disappeared on delayed images obtained after administration of furosemide. Physiologic retention in the renal pelvis played the role of a pseudoneuroblastoma.
