摘要
This paper explains the mathematical modeling and simulation of fly back converter for continuous and discontinuous mode of operation for low power application. The simulation model of the flyback converter is developed to support and enhance the Power Electronics course at the under graduate level. Input to the fly-back converter is the unregulated supply which is obtained by rectifying AC supply. In the proposed model, DC battery fictitiously represents the unregulated supply. All the results are observed and compared when coupled inductor in the fly back circuit is replaced by a linear transformer.
