摘要
This paper describes the system elements of a direct-drive robot joint including the motor, the power converter, the controller and the operational principle of the Switched Reluctance motor system. The turn-on angle, the turn-off angle and the distribution of the basic triggering signals of the main switches in the four quadrants are presented. The experimental test results are given for the tested phase current waveform and the output torque waveform without reduction of the output torque ripple and with reduction of the output torque ripple. The output torque ripple is reduced efficiently.
