摘要
We report here a wet chemical approach towards the synthesis of Copper Oxide (CuO) Nanoparticles. CuO Nanoparticles were produced in the reaction between Copper sulphate and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) at room temperature. The fabricated nanoparticles were characterized using X-ray diffraction to study the crystallinity, purity and crystal structure of the nanoparticles. The morphology was observed in scanning electron microscopy. An assembly of CuO nanoparticles was observed. The room temperature photoluminescence (PL) data were recorded to study the optical emission property of the nanostructure. The spectrum shows a strong emission at similar to 470 nm (blue). Thus the fabricated nanoparticles may have very useful optoelectronic application.
