摘要
Bambusa vulgaris var. wamin does not flower and therefore vegetative propagation is the only method to multiply it. Present paper deals with the first report of flowering in B.vulgaris var. wamin under in vitro cultures on MS medium supplemented with 2.0 mg/l BA and 0.8mg/l Kn. Flowers were mainly produced as buds in clusters from the base of the node of in vitro multiplied shoots.
