The problematics of African unity (1958-1963)

The idea of the African unity was formulated out of Africa and later in Africa at the time of the colonization and supported the political speech of many leaders during the decolonization. Can lead the national independence to a process of unification? Regional initiatives are been taken without sustainable success up to the foundation of the African Unity Organization. This article related this African frame, influenced by the cold war, and collected the elements of a global problematic for the historical research.
