摘要
Removing the SnS2-based nano-photocatalysts from water rapidly is a great challenging. To exploite ferromagnetism SnS2-based nano-photocatalysts removed easily by applying magnetic field, Ni modified SnS2 (Ni-SnS2) nanosheets are prepared by hydrothermal methods. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis indicates that Ni-SnS2 nanosheets are spherically stacked leading to a larger specific surface than pure SnS2. The Ni-SnS2 nanosheets have a remarkable improvement in degradation of Cr (VI) under visible light exposure due to the improvement of light absorptions for photocatalytic activities. The results indicate that the Ni-SnS2 nanosheets are promising materials for reducing Cr(VI). (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
