A new method for power system frequency tracking based on trapezoid wavelet transform

摘要
In this paper, trapezoid complex wavelet function and associate trapezoid wavelet transform is presented. This complex wavelet function is possessed of better localizability and symmetry and so by means of trapezoid wavelet transform, amplitude and phase information in signal to be processed. By comparison with other wavelet functions, trapezoid complex wavelet function has even frequency characteristic. Moreover, by using trapezoid complex wavelet transform in this paper, frequencies of signals in power systems and in loss of field in generators are tracked. Obviously it is shown that trapezoid complex wavelet transform is an effective method of making frequency tracing in power systems and is of important social and economic fruit.
