Single-pass Spray-coated Flexible Organic Solar Cells Using Graphene Transparent Electrodes

摘要
Organic solar cells become increasingly popular for harvesting solar energy, due to their potential for low-cost manufacturing and mechanical flexibility. We developed a room-temperature spray-coating technique for active organic solar cell material deposition at the ambient conditions. The solar cells built on ITO/glass substrates show a PCE of 2.5%, whereas the flexible devices fabricated on graphene coated PEN films show a PCE of 1.5% under different bending conditions. These results indicate a great potential for the applications where spray-coating technique is coupled with graphene transparent conductors in variety of flexible electronic applications for large-area manufacturing.
