摘要
In order to investigate the forced vibration response characteristics of rotating short thin-wall cylindrical shell structures in different boundary conditions Firstly, the vibration response of rotating short thin-wall cylindrical shell subjected to single point harmonic excitation is investigated. In displacement functions, the circumferential mode functions are obtained by using axial beam functions. By employing the orthogonality of trigonometric functions, the vibration differential equations are decoupled, and a series of independent second order differential equations are obtained, thus the vibration response can be solved. Secondly, an approximate analysis method for the forced vibration response of rotating short thin-wall cylindrical shells is presented. Assuming the rotating short thin-wall cylindrical shell is static in the certain coordinate systems, where the radial exciting force is rotating around cylindrical shell surface with the same speed to the opposite direction, and the influence of the centrifugal force and Coriolis force are ignored. Finally, the two methods are compared and their applicability is discussed, and two consistent results are revealed.
