摘要：

The soil sealing belongs to the most serious soil degradation factors. The soil covered with impervious materials (asphalt, concrete) lose all production and ecological functions. Especially infiltration and soil retention capacity are reduced and it causes accelerated runoff from countryside. This phenomenon has a negative effect during the extreme weather condition such as drought and flood. The soil is non-renewable source. It takes 100 years to create 1 cm of the soil but the soil degradation due to soil sealing can takes only one hour.
