摘要
Microgrids economic designing is a challenging optimization problem with various practical parameters in sizing, siting and operating managements. PID controllers with classic parameters tuning methods are unable to provide admissible performance for the operating conditions. In this study a modified grey wolf optimization algorithm (GWO) has been utilized to design a controller for the frequency and voltage regulation of Photovoltaic (PV) based microgrid systems in islanded mode operation. Applying the intelligence of the GWO improves the dynamic behavior and provides better power quality during the load change conditions. Numerical simulation results demonstrate that the proposed controller can effectively satisfy the power quality requirements and validate the proposed structure. The results have been compared with several precedent Evolutionary Algorithms (EAs) with the same objective function to verify the proposed method's priority.
