The child patient requires a complex and a careful approach which takes into account the attitudinal typology (cooperative, uncooperative, pampered, headstrong, etc.) and the use of strategies adapted to everyone's history, where the first visit to the dentist will influence his behavior and perception towards therapeutic intervention, protecting him in his evolution from the appearance of the anxiety-phobic manifestations and the interpretation of the stimuli as threatening towards dental treatment. The role of the therapeutic team, especially of the dentist, is to highlight the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and develop positive behaviors, through the establishment of some relationships based on trust and understanding.
