摘要
The development of efficient and reliable ignition systems for fuel mixtures is of interest for many practical applications associated with the use of combustion power plants. To increase the total flame surface, ensure the reliability of ignition, and increase the combustion rate in the chamber volume and the completeness of combustion of the combustible mixture, multipoint ignition of the fuel mixture using several pulsed spark discharges is used. Based on the data of a physical experiment, a comparison is made of the characteristics of combustion products in the working chamber when using different numbers of igniting spark discharges. The measurements were carried out at different ignition points of the mixture, initial mixture pressures, and fuel excess ratios in the mixture relative to the stoichiometric ratio. The values of the fuel excess coefficient used in the experiment are in a range the boundaries of which are the lower and upper concentration limits of ignition of the propane-air mixture.
