摘要
The control of uncertain systems has become an area of recent interest. The basic control techniques have been modified to work well in presence of perturbations. This paper presents a geometric relationship of performance specifications to pole assignment. The design freedom has been used in optimizing various cost functions for performance. Robustness issues have been incorporated in the design for specified ranges of parametric perturbations. An example has been included to illustrate the procedure and effectiveness of robust control design.
