摘要：
The paper describes the concept of traction frequency converters and auxiliary converters for diesel-electric locomotives of alternating (AC/AC) power transmission. Realized converter's prototypes have tested in the scope of existing standards in the SR and in particular the standards GOST, which had to be adapted proposal converters. The paper describes the main electrical and mechanical characteristics, design concept and you are given results of tests on foreign shunting locomotives.
