Knowledge-based interactive visualization for time-critical decision making

摘要
In time-critical domains, such as emergency management or military command and control, users are required to make decisions in highly stressful situations. The Decision-Centered Visualization (DCV) system under development at Fraunhofer CRCG supports decision making by integrating domain knowledge and knowledge about human decision making with an interactive visualization architecture. Naturalistic Decision Making (NDM) models inform the design of the DCV user interface module in order to appropriately supply the decision-maker with the necessary information.
