摘要
It presents the outline of study with the purpose of seeking to understand the actions of institutional and academic policy of the Associacao Brasileira de Escolas de Biblioteconomia e Documentacao (Brazilian Association of Schools of Library Science and Documentation) - ABEBD. The study is based on the Norbert Elias' con (figurational) theory, Berger and Luckmann's interactionist-constructionist theory and Serge Moscovici's theory of social representations. To collect and process data, the technique of the Discurso do Sujeito Coletivo (Collective Subject Discourse) - DSC was applied. The data for this clipping was achieved through interviews. The goal was to know about the representations of the leaders of ABEBD on the impact that the entity provided in the development of undergraduate curriculum in librarianship in Brazil. After data's analysis, a collective subject discourse was gotten. With such a discourse, the existence of positive impacts can be noticed, when you look at the results that were attained with regard to the effects of integration of Brazilian schools with other schools in the MERCOSUR countries.
