Topologies of Switched-Inductor Switched-Capacitor Based Enhanced Boost Z-Source Inverters for Renewable Energy Applications

摘要
This work presents four novel inverters having modified switched-inductor switched-capacitor technique for extended high voltage gain used in renewable energy applications. The proposed inverters consist of switched-inductor-capacitor arrangements with an active switched capacitor for extended voltage inversion ability. The proposed inverters give high voltage gain, lower voltage switch stress. Therefore, proposed inverters are suitable for various DC-DC and DC-AC power conversions for solar photovoltaic or fuel cells applications where the available low input voltage is to be converted into high DC/AC output voltage. Anatomization of operating principle, steady-state analysis, and comparisons with other impedance source inverters are discussed to show the advantages of the presented topologies. Finally, single -phase 500 W prototypes are developed to verify the operation of proposed inverters experimentally.
