摘要
In this paper, we present a quad-tree approach for discovery and tracking moving obstacle in WSN. The proposed technique logically divides whole network into regions. Obstacle is detected and tracked region wise by central node and regional member nodes. The proposed obstacle detection technique reduces control overhead and detection time to achieve better network lifespan and low detection delay. Simulation results depict that our technique significantly out performances with compared to other existing techniques in WSNs.
