摘要
For whole-body counting measurements at nuclear power plants, a mobile unit with a chair geometry equipped with a single HPGe detector or a stationary scanning-type counter equipped with NaI (Tl) and HPGe detectors are used. A small but representative group of workers, 30-130 persons, is routinely measured. Varying but small amounts of activation and corrosion products have been detected (Cr-51, Mn-54, Co-58, Fe-59, Co-60, Zr-95 Nb-95, Ag-110m, Sb-124, and small amounts of I-131), mainly during outage periods. The mean body burden has usually been no greater than 1 kBq.
