摘要:
Since the late 1960s copper solvent extraction coupled with electrowinning has been a growing technical application for production of copper metal. This paper outlined this technology and the fundamentals involved in the selection and sizing of copper solvent extraction and electrowinning circuits. It also illustrates the advancement in flow sheet design for copper leaching scenarios that now include copper pressure oxidation, high acid consuming ores, mixtures of high grade and low grade ores and combined copper/cobalt concentrates.
