摘要
Nowadays, there is a greater amount of young people interested in working for multinational organizations, which offer interesting opportunities for their employees, such as possibility to travel, job rotation and to work with people from other countries; including working within virtual teams. Working within virtual team in this case means to work virtually on a project, where some members of the team are based in other countries. The purpose of this paper was to research, present and analyze all the barriers one has to face during the process of working within and managing the team. There are more deficiencies, which will be faced by members of the team, but it is role of the managers to overcome every impediment the project faces. The data for this paper were obtained by empirical research method. The outcomes of completed questionnaires are presented in the result part. In the conclusion are provided recommendations which aim is to help the team members to be more prepared and efficient while being part of virtual team, and for the managers more effectively manage virtual teams. It could be helpful not only for the employees, but also for the organizations.
