The interaction of NO, NO + O-2 and NO2 with KxGaxSn8-xO16 powder, including potassium ions, has been investigated by temperature-programmed desorption. In the case of NO + 02, NO, storage rapidly increased with increasing concentration Of 02 and the main peak has high intensity with a maximum around 600degreesC. These results indicate that KxGaxSn8-xO16 has NOx storage ability with high thermal stability and is one of the promising catalysts for NOx storage reduction.
