摘要
The unprecedented challenge from the COVID-19 has disrupted the education sector across the globe. Most countries with access to the technology, including Malaysia, have been using an online approach that includes e-learning as an alternative to replacing face-to-face teaching and learning. E-learning implementation during the pandemic is anticipated to minimize the interruptions towards the educational system. This paper investigates students' acceptance of e-learning by employ the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), and the questionnaire was distributed to the students from the higher learning institution. A total of 457 respondents has been collected, and the data has been analysed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). This study developed five hypotheses in which all hypotheses are supported with significant results. The results indicate that Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Attitude significantly influence students' acceptance towards e-learning. This study validates that the TAM model is still relevant to explaining the technology's acceptance from the higher learning institution perspective. It is expected that the outcome of this study can improve existing knowledge regarding the student's acceptance of e-learning and provide useful insight into the current situation in the higher learning institution.
