Modelling of phosphate inhibition of copper corrosion in aqueous chloride and sulphate media

摘要
Mathematical models were built to predict sodium phosphate inhibition of copper corrosion in aqueous chloride and sulphate media. SEM-EDXS and AFM were used to characterize material surfaces without and with inorganic salt addition. Inhibitor efficiency was compared with that exhibited by benzotriazole. (c) 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
