摘要：

This review describes the effect of the characteristic porous microstructure on selected stages of the fatigue process such as S-N curves and fatigue life, crack initiation and fatigue crack growth near threshold, crack growth behaviour at intermediate propagation rates. These consideration should be a basis for an optimization of the porous structure of PM materials in case of fatigue loading.
