摘要
Energy is undoubtedly a driver of economic growth - a crucial input to nearly all of the goods and services of the modern world. Stable, reasonably priced energy supplies are a key factor to maintain and improve the living standards of billions of people. This paper introduces the interactive e-learning project Power engineering dictionary developed in open source learning platform Moodle. The main aim of the project was to help children, youth and general public to clarify some questions from the field of power engineering, to bring them answers and especially to attract their interest. The ambition of authors was to create the dictionary with the large database of terms from energy sector and cover the most common generation, transmission, consumption and energy pricing terms. The access to Power engineering dictionary is free for all who is interested in this topic.
