Bidirectional Er3+-doped Fiber Laser Mode-locked Based on Single-wall Carbon Nanotubes

摘要
The bidirectional operation of a single-wall carbon nanotube-based passively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser, is demonstrated. Differing from the conventional fiber laser, there is no isolator in the fiber laser. The laser can generate two stable pulse trains in opposite directions with different central wavelength, pulse width, and repetition rate.
