摘要
In this paper, a dipole array loaded substrate integrated E-plane horn antenna is designed. The substrate integrated horn and the loaded dipole array are respectively integrated in different layers of the substrates, and work together to improve the radiation characteristics of the overall antenna. A wide impedance bandwidth of 44% for vertical bar S-11 vertical bar < -10 dB (from 26-40 GHz) is obtained. In addition, the proposed antenna has improved radiation patterns with cross polarization below -30 dB, low backward radiation and a gain up to 12dBi over the entire operating band.
