Two-temperature EPR measurements of multi-walled carbon nanotubes

摘要
Two-temperature EPR measurements of macroscopic bundles of multi-walled carbon nanotubes were performed. The asymmetric resonance lines were observed. The contribution of localized pi-electron spin centers was higher than in pyrolytic graphite. The interpretation of these results is that the nanotube graphene sheet curvature causes an increase in the density of trapped electrons.
