摘要
This paper presents a prediction methodology for vibrations and groundborne noise in buildings along of a new underground railway station. The prediction is used immediately after construction of the tunnel (and station) in order to verify the performance of the designed track system in terms of vibration isolation. In case the criteria are not met, appropriate action can still be taken by selecting another track support dynamic stiffness. The prediction method is used to predict the vibrations and groundborne noise in the sensitive Diamond Zone of the Brussels Airport Building. This sensitive area is just on top of the new railway station.
