Broadband wireless access using optical spread spectrum techniques

摘要
Indoor wireless infrared transmission is severely impaired by noise, interference produced by artificial light and multipath dispersion. In this paper spread spectrum techniques are proposed in order to combat the penalties caused by artificial light interference and multipath dispersion. Analytical and experimental results for bit error rate versus optical power are presented. The results show that spread spectrum techniques reduce the degradation caused by artificial light interference and multipath dispersion.
