Multilayer fuzzy control intersections community based traffic forecast of type-2 fuzzy logic

摘要
A new concept, intersections community, which is the systematism of intersections set is imported to study congested traffic of hotspot in metropolis. The intersections in boundary play a main role in the traffic signal control of intersections community system. The object of control is multi-goals, that means not only minimizing mean delay time but also anti-congestion because congestion of traffic causes severe problems in such a limited and congested area. A new traffic forecast method based type-2 fuzzy logic is developed to improve performance of the control loop. As a result, an arithmetic of multilayer anti-congestion fuzzy control based traffic forecast of type-2 fuzzy logic(T2F-MACFC) to traffic signal of intersections community is proposed, which decreases 50% congestion problems comparing with GLIDE(Green Link Determining) according to computer simulation. Moreover, the type-2 fuzzy logic traffic forecast method contributes 15% increase of vehicle mean speed.
