Significance of Ti addition on precipitation in CoCrFeNiMn high-entropy alloy

摘要
CoCrFeNiMnTix (x = 0, 0.1 and 0.3) high-entropy alloys were subjected to a large plastic deformation followed by annealing. Annealing at 700 and 800 degrees C led to decomposition of single-phase HEAs and formation of new phases including Cr-rich bcc, Cr-rich sigma an eta-Ni3Ti which the latter only detected in the CoCrFeNiMnTi0.3 HEA. The microstructural evolutions revealed the significant of Ti on thermal stability and variety of formed precipitates in the microstructure of CoCrFeNiMn HEA. (C) 2021 Elsevier B.V.
