摘要
The chemistry of hypervalent iodine reagents in water has gained considerable interest in the past few years offering a number of useful methods in organic synthesis. The developed methods find significant use in the synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds. The present review summarizes the applications of hypervalent iodine reagents in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds in aqueous conditions. The literature has been covered up to 2020, focusing on research conducted during the past 5-7 years.
