Yves!Bonnefoy's poetic critique

There are few studies of Bonnefoy's literary criticism, which are very specifically written from the standpoint of poetry, and thus deserve the label "poetic". Yet it is this standpoint that explains the interpretative principles adopted by Bonnefoy, for example the primacy of poetry over the poem, as well as the four main categories he sees as organising such criticism as his - in its application to his very diverse readings.
