摘要
The concrete structures which are used to install various electrical equipments and play important role for the proper functioning of the equipment. Moisture seepage in the structure may cause failure of some of the electrical components. The setting time of concrete during construction is important parameter for the strength of the building. Accurately determined initial setting time helps in transporting and placing of cement based concrete material in due time. Final setting time determination helps to determine the time of formwork removal and right time to treat the structure with water for curing. In this proposed work, a copper cladded FR4 substrate taken as sensor. The sole objective of this study is to develop a measuring system using impedance sensor for hydration monitoring time. The rate of change in phase angle of the impedance provides distinctive behaviour to determine the setting time of the cement paste.
