摘要：

In this article, Legendre wavelets method is developed to solve a class of nonlinear quadratic Riccati differential equations. The properties of Legendre wavelets together with the collocation method are usually utilized to reduce the problem to the solution of nonlinear algebraic equations. In order to demonstrate the applicability and efficiency of this technique, a comparison between numerical results and exact solution in the case that the exact solution exists is given in illustrative examples.
